Not debating manual vs automatic plenty of threads on that already, however for me personally I like a manual and considering I'm a dodge fan they still offer one. But as I look at the numbers payload...

Love the new Ford's tow/haul mode. It downshifts automatically when you hit the brakes, and locks the transmission in the lower gear (similar to locking it in overdrive) to provide a engine drag. Upshifts again when you hit the gas. Just went over the Teton pass south of Jackson, and hardly used my brakes at all.
