Thinking of buying truck and TC
Been reading for a while and thought I would ask for some advice. DW and I have had 2 TT's and one MH. Without right now and thinking of going the TC route. Open to all types of 3/4 and 1 ton pick ups...

My first thought when I read this was, make sure you test out truck campers and make your wife get in and out of the high bed before you buy anything. Some camper beds are easier to get in and out of. I installed a ladder for my wife to get into to help her.
You next statement about wanting to get into more remote areas is a BIG reason why my wife and I bought our TC after owning a 30' 5th wheel.
If you want to go offroad at all I would suggest a 1 ton SRW in whatever brand you feel is right for you. If you mostly stay on decent roads then a dually will allow you to get a bigger camper.
