Thinking of buying truck and TC
Been reading for a while and thought I would ask for some advice. DW and I have had 2 TT's and one MH. Without right now and thinking of going the TC route. Open to all types of 3/4 and 1 ton pick ups...

Lots of good advice regarding the truck/TC. Alaska is another subject.
Suggest you use Google maps. Let the program provide you with the most direct route. Included in your map will be the miles as well as the total time. Decide how many hours a day you want to spend actually traveling. Divide the trip hours by the hours per day and you will have the minimum days to Alaska. Double that for the total travel days.
We travelled Alaska to Virginia Beach this past summer. Our first stop greater than overnight was in southwestern Wisconsin. That took us 7 days averaging 8 driving hours a day. We stayed in campgrounds all along the way except for our first night in a store parking lot in Tok, Ak.
