- Grit_dogNavigatorGod bless all y'all who are doing more than your part to support our economy during this time of ridiculous inflation. (Ridiculous to me anyway)
- corvettekentExplorerI ordered my 2022 Chevy 3500 High Country last August 9th and it showed up at the dealership January 31st.
- theoldwizard1Explorer IIMy F150 was built in about 3 months. It has been sitting in storage for 2 months waiting for a computer chip. Best estimate is 1-2 more months.
- Bionic_ManExplorerI ordered a Jeep Grand Cherokee L thanksgiving week. Dealer said it would take 2-6 months.
It is supposed to be built next week. And transport time may take up to 7 weeks after it’s built.
I hope you’re not in a hurry. - wowens79Explorer IIII ordered an F350 a month ago and was told to expect 6-8 months. It’s crazy the waits, it seems to depend on dealer allotments, and options. There may be some voodoo involved also. Some guys are getting them in 3 months, others 10 months.
- JKJavelinExplorer IIIMy son in law ordered a Jeep Gladiator on February 2 this year. Unbelievably, it was built in 3 weeks, waiting for transportation (from Ohio to Wisconsin). He picked it up last week, 4 weeks later. It took longer to deliver it than to build it.
JK - dodge_guyExplorer IIYou’ll be lucky to find one new on a lot somewhere!
I would wait till next year when supplies and demand equal out. You’ll be paying a premium for anything right now. - ItsyRVExplorerDon't feel bad. I friend ordered a new luxury vehicle. Waited over 6 months just to get his frame on the assembly line waiting list. After delays due to parts, it finally was completed. More delays due to transport issues. Finally made it to the pier, was loaded and set sail. The ship was the Felicity Ace and is now sitting on the ocean floor.
- BB_TXNomadI ordered an F150 King Ranch FX4 CC long bed tow package tow mirrors and most every other option on July 31st last year. Being end of July I assumed it as for a 2022 model. Dealer said 3-6 months. Got a call from dealer end of October saying Ford was ending their 2021 orders and I would need to reorder as a 2022 model. I asked if 3-6 month clock would restart. He said yes, but he didn’t think it would be that long. Picked up the truck on December 30th. So 5 months from initial order date despite the reorder.
May be longer now. But dealer has considerably more trucks on his lot now than then. So I guess more trucks are being delivered faster now than then. - ktmrfsExplorer IIit varies all over. A friend ordered a car in july, expected delivery in Nov, now they just got notice it is on the assy line. then it has to get across the ocean........
In the past ordering vehicles delivery has varied from a few months to 6 months or more and that was when there weren't lots of shortages.
