Some one posted "Diesel to Gasser, good luck". Firstly, not everyone needs or wants a diesel. Secondly, look where the OP is coming from. A 2003 5.9 was 235 HP and 460 TQ. Look what he's getting, 410 HP and 429 TQ. The new truck will out pull his older 5.9 all day long. And will also be a little more gentle on the environment as well.
You are correct about what the OP is coming from to what he is going to. If he was happy with the 03 the the new 6.4 will be great. But you guys are going to have to remember that you are not comparing apples to apples. Let the OP run his 6.4 for a couple months towing and then go get a new Cummins and tow with it. That is the true comparison between the two different types of motors.
IB is the same. There is 7 years difference between what he had and a new Cummins.
