I previously owned an 06 Mega Cab w/hemi. It was a dog but I attribute that to the smaller torque curve of the 5.7 and the stupid 545rfe trans. I believe the new Hemi is a lot better setup to deliver satisfying results. I am still on the fence about making the switch but my 7.3 has been killing me repair wise for 3yrs now so I am pretty fed up with it. Looking forward to your trip review.
