Actually it has about the same load on it due to the equalizer between the springs. the only way it would be carrying double the load was if the tire was off the ground.
So the rear spring (flat) is fully extended and the front spring is fully compressed and you think they are carrying an equal load simply because the rim is contacting the ground?
The OP said he checked the pressure and it was 65PSI. I believe him.
