My first trailer in the 80's, single axal 18ft with 700x15 6 ply bias ply tires. Ran them till the tread worn down, no problems. Second trailer double axal 17 ft came with Good Year Marathons 205x14 "B"rated 35 psi. Changed them out at 8 years, replaced with Marathons 205x14 "C" rated inflated to 45 psi. Two years later tread split and separated down the center and pealed off one tire. Never lost air the whole time. Quality problem maybe? Who knows.
