Thanks for the reply was the bedroom duct a option , standard or something you may have ordered? I don't see it listed anywhere on the website as an option or add on . Thanks again

Our Onan 2500LP genset handles the A/C unit just fine. If you're above about 4000' MSL, you'll need to shut off the A/C if you need to run the microwave.

Thanks for the replies I was just curious how the AC units handle hot weather in units with center islands or walls? Also have to guess that in the case of the host mammoth they offer a 9000 unit and an 11000 . The 9000 is listed for use with a 2000 watt portable generator so I am thinking the optional built in generator can handle the 11000 AC unit ? I currently have two Honda 2000's I use with our fifth wheel but not sure one of them would fit in the spot on the host where the optional generator goes and where would I be carrying a 5 gallon gas can ? Leaning towards the 11000 AC and the optional 2500 watt optional generator even with the propane usage which I know they go through fast but no need to carry gas .

I have to partially close my curtain to block some of the cold air coming out of the ac.

Just use a small fan to circulate air throughout the TC.

Arctic Fox uses an 11,000 BTU Airxcel unit that does a very good job of cooling. It brings down inside temps by 20 degrees in less than 30 minutes. Although it is not ducted, the adjustable vents can direct cool air into the cabover area and drops temps quickly. The only drawback is the low fan setting is too high ( and noisy) in many owners opinion. Other than that, the units cool down the interior to "meat locker" status if you so desire.

I just used my AC for the first time, Alvord, TX 100F, and it started getting too cold... so I don't anticipate any problem... Duct pointing towards the bedroom... should be fine..

My Host will have a Fantastic Fan instead of a Heki in the cab over. You can draw the hot air out and pull the cooler air from the the rest of the camper.
