Wow! That's impressive that you could full-time for that long in a truck camper with two cats.
The cat in the snow story brought back a memory of a male Siamese from years ago. He was a notorious escape artist who would dash through an open door no matter how quick you were. Usually banging hard against the almost-closed screen door on the way out. The first time he ran out when snow was on the ground was hilarious. He tried his best to pick up all four paws at the same time. Came right back in pretty quick, too.
