I had a Jeep, and really got bored going 2 mph all day long. in 2 hours time, I can cover the same territory as it would take all day in a Jeep. I sold the Jeep last year.
Funny thing was though, I bought the truck camper to support "camping with the Jeep" by being able to tow it on a trailer.
I previously had a Desert Fox Toy hauler.
All in all, the truck camper is a nicer platform for what I do and where I go. Much faster to set up and break down camp, easier to load the bikes in the cargo trailer, which I already had... well sort of.... I upgraded to a bigger trailer after getting the truck camper.
