Truck salesmen are idiots

I am sure those "idiot" truck salespeople consider RV owners who come in asking their advice as to what will tow their camper to be idiots as well, especially when they are like the first poster who told the salesperson the 3/4 ton truck the salesman recommended was too big. I am unsure what anyone would expect that salesperson to do. His choices would appear to be either try and sell the guy something smaller or tell him to get lost. One might generate the salesperson some income, the other might cost him his job. Given those options, I would think most people, not just the idiots, would choose door number one and try and sell the guy what he indicated he wanted, a small truck.
