I like to look at Tirerack's rating system for the brands of tire they carry for each category. It's really tough to tell you what the best tires are if we don't know if you have needs beyond driving on the highway. So are you looking purely for highway tires? The best tires for me are an all-terrain that has the mountain snowflake logo on them. I doubt that's the case for you.
