Truck Woes
Fortunately, it is in the search for a new truck. Wife and I had been discussing for months, but recent medical issues has both of us worried that we get a new truck with Automatic as a priority.
Had decide on an SLT 3500 SRW 6.4 4wd Crew Cab LB Auto. Spent 2 hours at the dealership today playing the ask salesperson, let her run to manager to search, to run back ask us another question. Within 500 miles of home, there is only 1 truck but it is black and has about $2,300 in options (back up camera, center light camera, backup sensors, upgrade radio, etc) that not only we don't want, but would cause aggravation since the main purpose of the truck is hauling a boat or camper.
So we are now reconsidering the gas engine and the SRW. For only about $3k more, we can be a diesel DRW and haul any camper we could ever want.
Or spend the same dollar and wait 12 weeks ordering exactly what we think we want.
Oh the tough decisions we have to make choosing our toys to play in the woods.

Hate the idea of a camper on a deck, extra tool boxes, easier to reach items like generators, fuel cans, chainsaws etc. 14,100 lbs, road like a Cadillac, steady at 70 mph 10.5-14 mpg and less overhang. What a silly idea.
