TT with rear master bed, front bunkhouse.

We have the 2013 version of this model and have had it almost a year. We have been very pleased with it. The rear tanks are a little harder to get to with the slides open, but not impossible. We have really appreciated the extra room in the master bedroom, there is enough room to dress without having to sit on the bed to put your pants on. We have been pleased with the storage, except for the wardrobe in the front is too short for our teenager's shirts to hang in it. (That would not be a problem if he wasn't adult size.) The one in the back bedroom holds plenty. We found ourselves rarely using the back door and actually ended up placing an extra light weight storage unit in that area, which gives us extra counter space in the bedroom as well as storage in the baskets in it. It is lightweight enough if we needed to get out that door quickly we could move it easily. I think we will be keeping this model until our son is grown and no longer camping with us.

I am currently towing with an Expedition EL so I will really be pushing my payload capacity. Being so tall really makes it hard for me to sleep comfortably in a standard front bed / rear bunk trailer.

I have seen the non-diamond edition Outback 301 for under $23k like this one, but I doubt that would happen on the west coast. And the tongue weight is lower for Outback despite being heavier. I think the Passport Elite line has electric stabilizers standard which are not available on Outback. Outback has 50A/dual AC optional. Compromises. tkoden, what are you towing with? I think either one is 3/4 ton territory.

I like them both. The Passport Elite is more like my current TT which I love and why I like the Diamond edition on the Outback. But I also want the larger fresh/gray tanks!

According to my local dealer (who only caries the Outback line) the outback is a higher trim level. He rattled off all the extra things that the outback had, most of which the passport had too. The outback is also about 600-800 lbs heaver than the passport which is why I didn't go that route. I am purchasing the Passport 32FB for $25,999 +fees this weekend to give you a price reference.

Weight, interior/exterior height, fresh/waste/gray tanks, frame/axles. Materials, construction, etc. Check them both out.

We are looking at the 32FB. I am 6'7" tall so having the slide makes it so I can comfortably sleep in the bed. If the cabinets in the bedroom are laid out anything like the 32FB you should have plenty of room in the master for clothing.

Also, with a pocket door and a private entrance, my wife and I can have our own privacy when the kids are in the main living area or in their bunks. I would love to get an outback but its way too heavy for our TV.

I have liked that floorplan for many years. And Outback now has a Diamond package with upgrades I like too.

There is the Keystone Passport Elite 32FB that is similar, smaller tanks though.

Where to buy? Lakeshore RV in Muskegon Michigan has great prices on Keystones. Not sure on where closer to you.

The layout is nice it appears there is plenty of room around master bed.
Looks to be lacking in the clothing storage and maybe a head board or night stands next to master bed would be nice.

I had never heard of that model mentioned, so took a peek. Very nice. 2 things I noticed that may or may not be an issue....is there any space on the sides of the queen bed to allow for ease in making it up?? Assume that the TV is on a swivel, so should be easy to watch from the sofa as well as the dinette. If not already a swivel, you could make that change.

Don't think I've ever seen or heard of a layout like that....usually the BH is rear and the bedroom or kitchen front. Looks like lots of good usable space and plenty of storage. I like it and it seems to fill the bill for what you're wanting. Happy Camping!
