Does not say what truck is. Does it use seperate lamp brake/turn? Might be in the turn signal switch.
Unless it was Frontier or Tacoma with separated rear brake and turn indicators, the signals are combined within the truck wiring harness. If it was one of these smaller trucks, it would have a converter box mounted somewhere to merge this signals. I just installed this type of box on my dune buggy to tow my trailer and have also done this on my Chevy Sonic and VW Jetta and Mazda Pickup and...
Regardless, this is a truck issue and not a problem in the camper.
