thank you all for the replies/help and i made a serious rookie mistake, as some of you mentioned, checking the truck ground. I automatically dismissed it being the truck since it's only a year old, well you're right, bad towing turn signal fuse! Friend had a trailer light tester, which i will now be picking one up! problem solved and turn signal working as it should!!
