OP, I suggest you join www.ramforum.com and contact user RamCares. They are actual manufacturer customer care specialists. It allows you to contact them directly and advise them of your problem. They are VERY receptive and get things done. I had an open recall for the water pump. My dealer kept telling me they didn't have any in stock but would let me know when they got one. I finally contacted RamCares and they ensured that the dealer had a pump for me, helped me set up an appointment, made sure it was completed to my satisfaction, then even gave me 2 years worth of oil changes for my troubles.
The best part is that when I went in to drop off my truck, there was a note in the file from Ram Customer Service. A manager came out to help me and make sure I was pleased. It appears that the dealership takes it very seriously when Ram Customer Care gets involved...
