Amazing.....
In today’s world of ISO-9000, science in engineering...in materials...in production processes...in quality ability (both QA and QC) via the marvelous inspection instrumentation, etc, etc, etc...amazing but it happened to this unlucky OP...a Mr Murphy moment crossed that ICE’s life
Also lost is the ability of the OEM to diagnose what the heck happened via imcompetence of the whole process
Now that they have torn portions of the ICE apart...lost are any of the taletail evidence for forensics to solve & improve the OEM’s process(s) down to delivery to their customer
If me...I’d not settle for anything short of a new engine...and push for a new vehicle...
