(((Update))) we bought it / 1995 Lance squire lite 185

Me and my wife found a 1995 Lance Squire lite 185 but we are unsure of the value and what to offer the seller . He’s asking $4500, we already went to look at it, inside is clean and everything works. The outside isn’t the best condition, will need some TLC. What should we offer ? I don’t want to low ball they guy if it’s worth what he’s asking. These short bed model TC are hard to come by it seems.

There is no way to predict value on rare items.
I was trying to sell my Lance 1162, what is big model with slide and could not get 1/2 of NADA value for it in San Francisco area.
I know TC are more popular in other states, than in CA, but still.
Comparing the $6k I could not get for my model, the 4500 for this seems to be high, but that's just IMHO.
Just beware that in early years of RV -manufacturers used corrosive glue for aluminium siding. Make sure the camper has no bubbles on it.

These short bed campers especially with A/C are hard to find. I’ve been looking for the past year and haven’t came up with any. I was thinking of offering 4K, he’s also including the mounting system for my truck as he owns the same truck as me.
  • That seems high to me. I sold my 2003 Fleetwood Elkhorn 11x in 2018. I got $9,000 for it. It had a generator, power jacks with wireless remote, 19" flat screen TV. It was also a dry bath with larger gray and black tanks and space for two 20 lb propane tanks.

Is roof just dirty? Can you see evidence of maintenance? Any leakage on the front window inside? Get up close to look. I’d say offer four.

Looks like it’s just dirty, I went up and checked it out no repairs. Will definitely need re sealing on the exterior. Checked out the front window area didn’t seem like there was leaks, he also stated there isn’t any leaks and his last outting in Quartzsite was pouring rain and there was no leaks.
