If you are finding difficulty locating a place to keep the battery, depending on your vehicle,maybe something like this battery box would work mounted under the truck. I would think a weld shop could also rig you up something if TL doesn't have a model for your truck.
As stated the isolator is used to keep the camper amp draw off the truck battery. The camper will only take power from the camper battery.
