You wont get preferential treatment no matter where you buy; expect any repairs to take months to complete, no matter how small.
We bought out of state and I called my local dealer (who couldn't match the price) and their service manager assured me that they would honor any manufacturer warranty repairs. They did, but as stated, all repair visits took months to complete. Bring it in so they can look at it, take pictures, and order the parts. Bring it back months later when the parts "might" be in and authorization is given to repair. Several months later, call and check on repair to be told, "its in line". Then months later call again and complain to the manager then pick it up a few weeks later. Then, find out they didn't complete all the repairs, go camping and bring it back weeks later...(You get the idea). And, you will find the same story from those who bought from that dealer. Good luck
