Man, it's a big list ... here are some ideas in no particular order.

In Seattle area, ride a ferry and drive by Microsoft Campus in Redmond. Nice drives: drive over Chinook Pass, drive North Cascades highway. Out of the way places: visit Omak Stampede, Crater Lake National Park, Mt Saint Helens. Fish for salmon or sturgeon. Drive the Oregon Coast. Visit Olympic National Park rain forest.

Go to the Northy-est, Westy-est point at Cape Flattery. Beautiful drive and super impressive.

Between Bend and LaPine. Hosmer Lake on the Cascades Lakes Scenic Byway. Lots of beautiful lakes and campgrounds in the area with good fishing.

Guess I should have mentioned that we will be coming up the coast after visiting the Redwood National Park. Of course we won't be able to see everything so we will probably be trying to do the western parts of the states. Me thinks we will have to come back another time to see more that we will miss on this trip. I think we will be limiting what we see in Oregon this trip but I want to visit Crater Lake & then the wife wants to drive the coastal highway in Oregon.

If you have time for an easy hike near Lincoln City, Drift Creek Falls is worth seeing.

If you go inland a couple hours, east of Salem, Silver Falls State Park is beautiful.

Oregon coast has many great campgrounds. The Oregon State parks are the best. Need reservations unless you arrive mid week and before 10am. Some of the sites even have cable TV. Newport Oregon is my favorite. Beverly Beach SP is my favorite . At Newport got to go to the Bayfront area, Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Here is the list of my favorite.
Oregon Coast: Depot Bay - Sprouting Horn, Tlillamook - cheese factory, Astoria - Peter Airdale wreck and Goonies movie house and Fort Stevens SP AND Costco just South.
Oregon Central state: Government Camp - Trillium Lake Forrest service CG with view of Mt Hood. BEND - Cascade Lakes Highway many lakes and campgrounds. Crater lake NP- check opening dates. Medford - Harry and David fruits.
Washington: Cross the Astoria bridge to Long Beach - Cape Dissappoint SP and at Long Beach Marsh museum and downtown Long Beach. Ocean Park - Jack's Country Store. Olympic peninsula - Olympic National Park - Hoh rain Forrest, Kalaloch CG, Hurricane Ridge, Staircase, Cresent Lake, Forks. Mt Rainier NP - Sunrise/Paradise.
