Check your truck's owner manual if you still have it as well as the receiver mounted to your truck. I expect one or both to list two sets of weight ratings, onw with WDH and one without. Typically, that is in the 500-600 pounds of TW range. I cannot imagine a loaded 25' TT to have less than 600 pounds of TW. So you probably need one.
Also, at 600 pounds of dead TW, you lose about 300 pounds off the front axle. That is enough to affect steering and handling.
Get one, even a $200 one.
