We use an Eco Que charcoal grill. It only requires 9 pieces charcoal for a meal, folks down to 1" thick by 12"square, foil liners, very little mess and can be used in burn ban areas. We bought our first one years ago when another company was producing them, Pyromid. They went or if business then the new company picked up patents and produces them now. You can get larger ones, all kinds of add ons, etc. Not super cheap but stainless steel and last for years. We have 2. Toy can actually burn just about anything even a sterno can. But we just stick with match light charcoal. Extra stuff I cook on stove in camper if needed. Makes GREAT Chuck eye Delmontico steaks, burgers and franks. Plus you can bake in it with extra attachment. Works for us old farts. It has folding legs so safe to place on any surface and cools down pretty quick for packing away in its little bag.
