Went to the car show for fun today. Saw a 2018 2500 Ram Power Wagon 6.4L Hemi crew cab. Payload capacity was only 1047 pounds. Yes...I’m sure. What’s that truck bed for? Better weigh those groce...

Welcome to the Ram mafia regime... They're a self-concious group that will attack in full force at any hint of any ram short comings as you've seen a few show their colors.
Having said the Power Wagon is designed primarily as a off road truck and in order to smooth out the ride the load hauling capability is sacrificed. Because it's based on a 2500 platform the little load capability confuses people. If you want maximum load hauling capability look at a regular 2500 series truck.
Don't let the ram mafia steer you away. This is still a pretty good place for intel, but you just have to filter some of the nonsense and angst.
