The Power Wagon package gives you Bilstein gas shocks, 12K winch, electronically deactivated front stablizer and off road tires standard. That is the extent of your Power Wagon package, at least what is on the website. The half ton based Raptor which is much more optimized for off road has the same or more payload. The midsize ZR2 advertises 1100 pounds of capacity. No one finds this worth a discussion? Certainly this forum has discussed much more lame topics. Rather than do that however, it is easier to kick the OP in the junk.
I was referring the ZR2 as a smaller/ lighter more trail manageable package for off roading. Remember the ford and chevy are 1/2 ton more or less. The Ram is supposed to be a 3/4 ton.
Tow ratings are a mute point..
I would consider a dodge if I can get the common transmission failures out of my mind as well as the rusting issues on 4 year old trucks..
Maybe they fixed the issues but it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth dont it?
It certainly would. I bring up the ZR2 only to compare that a midsize truck has about the same payload capacity as 3/4 ton pickup. I personally did not know that the Power Wagon has such a low payload capacity. I found it interesting, and certainly worth a discussion. I was put off by the response that the OP was given for bringing it to light.
