So why put it in a 3/4 ton chassis then? You cant tow with it like a regular 3/4 ton, you cant carry anything in it like a regular 3/4 ton and even with a front sway bar disconnect, a 3/4 is not going to articulate very well anyway (assuming a stiffer chassis). So it isn't as hard core as the Raptor, yet its compromised for use as a typical 3/4 ton pickup. At the end you have a 3/4 ton with half ton specs, marginally improved off road capability with a big motor, 4:10 rears and poor mpg. What are the compromises buying you? Where are the upsides? It attempts to be a Jack of all Trades and really succeeds none of them.
Maybe they should have put the package in a one ton so they could have netted a HD pickup with true 3/4 specs. At least then you could do something with it.
Those are all valid points and is probably why you hardly see any around. I see way more ram rebels.
