Wow, things must have slipped a lot in the few years since we began RVing in 2002. Our first TT was an 18' Pioneer by Fleetwood. It was definitely an entry level TT. We had zero problems with it over the 4 years. It had large tanks and while there were some compromises on quality over cost we had no complaints. We sold it and bought a new 2006 Cougar 243RKS by Keystone. We loved the layout and the spaciousness compared to our previous TT. It was 2 years before we went on a camping trip without problems. Some of the issues were big (engineering type) and others not so big. The dealer was awful. Often it took 2 or 3 trips and the issues were not fixed. Keystone was great in helping us but the folks holding the tools were incompetent. Finally after 2 years of sorting, the TT held up well and we enjoyed it for several more years. I became an excellent RV tech.
Things today seem to be much worse. I'm also considering a new TT but I am looking at Grand design and Arctic Fox.
