What can a Jeep Cherokee diesel really pull?
Hi. I had asked about the 08 09 jeep grand cherokee with the diesel. I don't own one but they sound like they might be a good choice but I've been hearing some conflicting things about how good it is...

Thanks. A CRD is a grand cherokee deisel? If it's a better tow vehicle than a durango I'm sold. Wife's 2004 durango has the Hemi but not the pulling rear end. It's adequate but it would be nice to have a bit more balls for the hills. The hemi really screams on anything more than a slight grade. Sucks down the fuel like crazy too.
Love the idea of a quality powertrain like the Mercedes but in something affordable like a jeep. Too bad they don't make them anymore. The ones for sale don't seem to go cheap unless the miles are up there. How many km would be getting to the point were the rest of the jeep would be wearing out? I'd like to find one under 100,000 but I think lots of others would like that too.
