Hammerhead's Durango was the 5.9 (360). If memory serves, it is around 230 HP and 330 lb/ft torque. If you have the 5.7 Hemi, you are looking at around 345 HP and 390 lb/ft of torque. Big difference there.
I doubt the CRD would out pull the Hemi.
I had a Jeep GC Hemi. Pulled my 5000 pound boat very well, other than the fuel economy. You just have to be willing to let it rev. That is what that engine was built to do.
