- OasisbobExplorerI am a reluctant hybrid owner. Do not like them but own one due to need for lots of space in a light package. Would never want a tip out on drivers side as you may be in your neighbors camp site.
- atreisExplorerWorse than a PUP: It seems to assume that the ground you're camping on is completely flat. That's true some places here in Indiana, but I tend to not go to those places.
Bears: Yeah, yeah.... How often do you camp places where that's actually an issue? (Some people do, but most don't.) - samhain7ExplorerWhat's with the bears all the time, 95%of people goto campgrounds. The bears are going to go after people in tents first....
- rbpruExplorer IITo me it is simply a large PUP. Fine if you have a country lot. Not to practical in a campground.

My hard-sided trailer is far better in bear country. I'm not of fan of the expandable sides. But it's an interesting concept.
I agree 100%. - buzzard616ExplorerI'm a bit skeptical, but if they offered to let me try one for the Summer, who knows?
- rexlionExplorerTo me, it looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Too easy to damage the fan-fold material with a tree branch or by pinching it somehow when folding it back up. And what if you have to fold up in the rain? Yuck.
- VTRExplorerSeen it numerous times on line, and dig the heck out of it!! We could park it on our Mtn. property, and yes we have bears up there. I do not think it would be a bear problem. It is so easy to understand the mechanics and I just wonder what the fold down sides are made of. Really interesting though.
- dodge_guyExplorer IIIt's perfect for the Bears! They can select their food before they are committed to something they may not like!!!! :B
All kidding aside, I do like the concept. It would be cool to have at certain campgrounds!
