We use water... except every couple of months on a moving day when I add some dish detergent, borax crystals, and about 1/4 tank of fresh water. The "washing machine" action rolling down the road does a pretty good job of cleaning things out by the next stop. Many parks stipulate no chemicals in holding tanks due to their park septic systems.
