- Tom_AndersonExplorerAnother thing I forgot to mention. Don't put anything heavy (like a bottle of shampoo) in the medicine cabinet unless you want to find it in the bathroom sink upon arrival at your destination.
This is probably not WC 850 specific, but this is my first truck camper, and the motorhomes I've owned before did not have this problem. - Wolfy850Explorer

I learned that trimming the shower curtain helps the water drain better in shower.
On a related note, I learned that if you're parked even slightly nose-high, the shower leaves a very inconvenient puddle right in front of the toilet.
Lol I forgot to mention that. Its best to keep these level or as close as possible. Really not a gripe just an observation as I really am enjoying my WC 850! - towproExplorerone of my projects this summer is a wooden (teak?) rack for the bathroom floor so when I go in with shoes on it don't scratch the floor and to keep you up off the wet fiberglass.
Also plan on an outlet inside cabinet over sink to power the Satellite receiver, but this outlet will be able to be switched between 120V from Shore power or 120V from inventor that will be under sink. But than maybe I will just find the 120v feed for all the outlets and switch that between shore power and inventor. - Tom_AndersonExplorer

I agree with Tom that the opening for the propane tanks could have been larger, you will need to practice trying to get one tank out and then the other. I need to remove the front tank first and it is a project in itself trying to get just the right angle to drag it out.
I also have had a never ending issue with the bathroom door staying closed while on the road. The snap on the door was pulled out during delivery up the Alaska Highway and repaired by the dealer up here. The repair never made it home (30 miles). I've had the dealer repeat the repair twice and the door still wouldn't stay closed. I glued round magnets to the door and frame towards the bottom to try to keep it closed and keep from pulling the snap out. I would kill to have the new drawer style slide that the new models are supposed to be getting.
Other than that, I love my Wolf Creek!!! Decent room to move around, quality cabinets, large refer, huge kitchen sink, nice stove and oven, lots of seating around the table, and plenty of storage in the generator box and by the plumbing valves. I added a foam topper to the mattress from Costco for a more comfortable bed too.
Here's a fix I did to our bathroom door a couple of years ago that has held up fine:
Pocket Door Fix - towproExplorer
- VinsilExplorerDon't have the 850 (which is a great floor plan) and went with the 840 instead.
Only quality issues we had:
Outside ladder had a sticky pin, not a huge deal.
Battery box was not sealed from the interior, first wash had water under the cabinet.
All the blinds rods fell/fall off. Simple fix.
Stereo speakers in overcab cab do not work with blue tooth devices. Annoying, not fixed yet and dealer is worthless.
Missing the small cushion to make the lower dinette into a bed. FIVE calls to the dealer...multiple promises to order it. 2 calls to the factory, they tell us a dealer issue. VERY pissed about this. Minor but principals.
Ordered the fox landing gear. Two things. The hardware the manufacturer sent was sized incorrect or they drilled/tapped the bumper wrong. Had to buy smaller hardware to fix. Meh.
The step that goes on top of the bumper (final step before entrance) did not come. Call to Northwood....it is not included and costs additional, even though they show it as part of the fox landing package. Our dealer did not inform us of this. $750.....that was not cool.
No LED bulbs in the reading lights in cabover. Every light is...except these.
LOVE the camper. These are minor in the RV industry. Our dealer sucks and Northwood wasn't much help either. I haven't had time to be the squeaky wheel so.....
I'd still buy it again in a heartbeat. Enjoy! - MORSNOWNavigator IIII agree with Tom that the opening for the propane tanks could have been larger, you will need to practice trying to get one tank out and then the other. All the clips at the bottom of the blinds were crooked. In some cases, there was over an inch of difference from one end of the blinds to the other. We replaced them all with day/night shades, so it wasn't a big deal.
There was a small water leak under the sink, where the outdoor shower hooks up. By the time we noticed it, there was a fair amount of water under there. I just had to tighten one of the fittings a little and dry it out with a fan.
We found a bunch of screws that were either stripped from overtightening, not screwed in all the way, or totally missed their mark (screwed into air).
The head of the kitchen faucet was cross-threaded and ended up falling off. It just needed to be properly assembled.
They were all little things, and I fixed them all myself. We absolutely LOVE the camper and don't mind fixing a few things here and there. I would definitely buy it again.
One thing I did notice that might be more of a design issue is that the propane tanks can be difficult to change out. If the opening were just 1/2" bigger, it would be a piece of cake. As it is, they have to be tilted at just the right angle...
