What models of trailers are well built?

Okay, now I am looking for a TT to replace the one I am selling. But I need one that is well built and can handle rough roads. I will be hauling this trailer around the Arctic on gravel roads for thousands of miles. I will be there during the summer, not the winter, so I don't need one to stay the winter in. It is quite warm up there in the summer because the sun never goes down.

I have a family member that wants to sell me a Jayco Jayflight, but I don't know much about them. Are they built well and do you think it could hand what I have in store for it? If not, what brands and models should I be looking for?

I've done a ton or research on this subject. I believe the best built is travel trailer Arctic Fox. They aren't as blingy as some other brands and they cost quite a bit more but from what I see, it's worth it (at least to me).
That doesn't mean they're perfect, they still have a ways to go but I see much better construction in thier RV's than any other brand I've checked on-line and at several RV shows.

I believe this so much that this week we'll take possession of a new Silver Fox 32A.
    JMHO.

Thanks a million. I will look to see if I can find any, but I am down in Texas, so it might be hard.

One of the main characteristics of tough units is the weight to length ratio. It would really help to know a bit more of your requirements for your trailer and tow vehicle, but if you think you are going to haul anything but a lightweight with your Silverado 1500 you have to reconsider.

You could consider a Bigfoot or an Escape in a fiberglass pod style, but again, you want a heavy duty haul vehicle and a trailer that matches that. Look at the weight of an Arctic Fox unit, or if you can find one, a Triple E unit like I have. Build tough and used in the Canadian Arctic weather reliably.

Thanks. I will look into all this.

Like asking a question of "what's the best car?" Your question can have lots of answers.
Best can range from custom built, to airstream to the Northwoods products and so on.
How about answering what you want?
    Are you buying new?
    How large?
    Budget?
    What are you towing with?
