Curious, would you please identify those critical parts being left off that would save a ton of repairs? And how much would it add to the cost of a rig if the manufacturer never used one of those cheap parts and instead used the best part available. And where would you draw the line between best part and cheaper alternatives? Interior Hardware?, painted graphics vs decals?, Hardwood and tile vs laminate? Only top of the line audio/visual equipment? Same thing for appliances? What is vastly important to one person is immaterial to another. Personally, I am fine with the $400 HD TV. I don't need the curved screen OLED 4K with $5000 of theater sound. But for the next person in line that might be their only requirement. If you went top of the line everywhere, wouldn't the cost of the rig double at least?
