If I were Jayco, I would be EMBARRASSED at the quality/durability of the awnings that they install on their products ! The wall thickness of the aluminum channel is slightly thicker than a beer can !
How about 0.090 or 0.120 wall aluminum channel. It hold up to a 10 mph wind gust instead of folding like an empty can.
