One reason is that no one else in the world to my knowledge RVs like the United States does. The UK has the caravans, mostly small casita sized campers that can be pulled with a 4 cylinder and more importantly, fit on their roads. Australia has their outback style trailers but are on no where near the same production numbers as we are. There have been some made in china units imported but they didn't last long. China doesn't yet know how to build RVs.
