I often sit in my trailer at night and consider the workmanship, design and materials. Conclusion is I could in no way buy just the materials to build it for what I paid. I am appreciative that people took the risk and made the investments in dollars and talent to supply my trailer. I don't deny them their profit margins. I am just happy that I can enjoy their products. When something breaks I fix it without complaint.
I do see advances in the industry. Lance is using CNC processes to reduce shrinkage. I see relieved frames to reduce weight. I see outdoor kitchens, front living and lofts along with flush windows. Innovation is there, just have to look. The choices available to an RV purchaser most likely have never been greater.
