- Doug33ExplorerI just winterized my TT and it was a nightmare. I had to take apart the lowere bunk to get to the bypass valve, and then found the water pump to be on the entire opposite end of the trailer, under the cabinet next to the master bed. And there was no way to access the water pump unless I took apart the bed and then unscrewed a couple panels underneath. They should have a little access door to make it a whole lot easier.
And of course the manual was generic and useless for identifying a location where I could tap into the water pump to draw the RV fluid into the plumbing.
In the process of taking apart the lower bunk, I noticed that the plywood used is virtually paper thin. I can't believe it supported me when I slept in there one night. Anything to save a pound or two. I might have to upgrade the thickness. - CrawfordvilleExplorerI would change either the placement of the shower or the toilet. I hate stepping out of the shower. The toilet is in the way and makes for a tight shower exit. I'm always afraid that I'm not going to twist and turn just right and fall.
- wannavolunteerFExplorerA larger gray tank! why do they manufacture a TT with 92 gal FW capacity, and only 32.5 gal gray and black water tanks?
Oh something that sits better than the sofa that came with it (no way to change it out the way the slide is configured). - DRKMinWAExplorerWe would like a small "medicine cabinet" in the bathroom. Would just be convenient for small toiletries.
- CavemanCharlieExplorer IIIChanging my rig for one that's 20 years newer would be nice. At the same time it needs to be for the same price as the 20 year old one I have now. That way I can sell the old one and get the new one for free. Oh heck, I'll even through in a extra grand.
- jbjuicesExplorerI used to have a trailer where the bathroom was too small to sit on the toilet and close the door, this was the Shamrock 233S.
We learned a lot from having that Shamrock and was able to trade that in on a much larger trailer that meets ALL of our needs. The only 3 wishes that I have for my new trailer is 1) a central vac and 2) an ice machine and 3) a professionally installed hitch in back - pbohartExplorer1. I would find a way to add 12 inches to the queen front bedroom/bed
2. I would double the size of my 35 gallon grey tank
3. I'd make it free ;) - The_Dung_BeetleExplorer

I love our unit, but I do think they went too cheap on a few things. No front window, I realize thats a big cost savings but it would be nice to have. Also next to the bed are 2 cubbie holes. Its easy to see these were meant to be drawers. They just left the drawers out to save money. I have already built new cabinet doors for the storage under the dinette that was not included. Drawers for the cubbies should be this winters project.
I actually called the makers of our TT to see if we could have a window put into the front of the rig. They gave us two comments. They told us that windows are usually the first place TT's start to leak. Then.. he went on to say (as a rule) the front window is the first to leak as it gets battered when driving down the road 55-60 mph in pouring rain. So, we've decided that we'll enjoy this TT for a long while, and when something crosses our path that has a little better lighting we'll upgrade. - mikeflysExplorerI love our unit, but I do think they went too cheap on a few things. - WandaLust2ExplorerI wish our NT didn't have those tinted windows. I wish the bathroom was at least 12" wider. I wish we had more clearance. Other than that it's fine for what we use it for.
