Shopping a new TT. Does one slide stand out?

My brothers Schwintek has failed and failed again. Last time the top of the slide went out further than the bottom. It looked like the slide was going to fall out of the trailer. All tracks and motor had to be replaced. Schwinteck paid for the parts but he was out $700 labor. Time will tell for him but I certainly will never have a Schwintek.
