Stay away from schwintech!!!!!!!! ,
It is not if the fail, it is when!!!
Find thats only true with rather heavy and lengthy schwintech slides. I have not heard of anyone with a short light bedroom schwintech slide having trouble. Have heard just as many problems with most any other more conventional brand, especially hydraulics. But I do agree with long living room slides. The schwintechs seem to have a high failure rate there.
I've had numerous problems with my main super slide, but also had a motor short out in the front bedroom, which is a smaller slide unit and is also fully supported by the floor (bed is integrated with slide room, and glides on floor sliders).
One of my rear bedroom slide-outs is starting to make some creaking and groaning now.
Luckily the factory has been great about picking up my trailer, transporting to the factory, and rebuilding the Schwintek system. Twice. I cringe thinking about owners who don't have the same factory support as Outdoors RV.
