I had that model as our first rv as well. Served us just fine, and I think Jayco seemed to be a bit more detail oriented when it came to the small things. That added to the build quality imo. We have 2 kid's and a great Dane and or boxer while we had that unit. Would still have it if it had a slide. Over time, it was just to cramped on those occasions when you are stuck inside for whatever reason. Also no place for the dog on the floor without being in the way. If you are the kind that doesn't want your dog on the furniture, that model won't work for you. Btw, a lot of manufacturers have this layout. Not many ways you can stuff bunks, sofa, etc inside a 27' rectangle. It is a popular layout, and you always see these in the campgrounds near us.
