I bought used and there were three reasons why I got the Ford: 1. built-in brake controller (others didn't have this yet in the years I could afford) 2. Ford fenders, beds, and tailgates weren't rusted through like on the Rams (again, with the years I could afford) 3. The Duramax GMs were a LOT more expensive in the years I was looking at (had to get one with a zillion miles to be in my price ballpark)
