This is my response to Chuck this morning to his PM asking the exact same question above.
Contact DaveSmith in Kellog, ID and Dennis Dillon in ID. They sell more RAM trucks than anyone else. Look at the limited and LongHorn models they are TOP quality. As I told you before there is MORE than enough room in the back seat of my truck. Be sure to bet the Factory rear air ride, well worth the money.
I am sure the Fords are a nice truck but NO WAY would you want the CP4 injection pump past warranty. You are talking over 10K in repairs past warranty. The fact is Ford has denied warranty to many, just do a google search.
There is a reason you see more RAM's like your Bro said, the trucks are simply trouble free. Took mine in just before 36K warranty was up a few days ago for updates. The truck has been perfect. My 11 HO Dually was exceptional also with a tie rod end and washer bottle replacement only.
CUMMINS/AISIN are a TRUE Medium Duty combo as they are BOTH used by other manufacturers in MD usage.
Cummins builds engines, that is what they do.
You can order a truck exactly as you like for invoice minus incentives or get one off the lot no difference. I choose ordering what I want.
