As far as seat comfort mentioned above, you most likely were not driving a Limited or LongHorn. I can drive 8-10 hours with no back pain. Certainly not the case with my 98!
These seats put the Laramie leather to shame for leather quality and comfort. KingRanch friends rode in my 11 with same seats as the current 15. They both commented several times how comfortable the seats were and the quality of leather.
