I gave Ford a try in 2003 with a new F-250 SD with the 6.0 and it was downhill from there. They knew there were problems but refused to take any of the blame or even admit there were problems. It was worse in 2014 when I went to trade it for another Ford and two dealers would not take it on trade even though it was in excellent condition. That told me that Ford did not care one bit about the customer just the profit. To me a good company stands behind their product and even more so when they have a problem. From that day on I will never buy another Ford truck( I bought our 2014 Expedition right before this happened ). I have bought a new vehicle each year since and none were Fords so their loss. My two CTD Rams I have bought have been excellent and I might even try a GMC down the road. My advice is pick out what you like and feel comfortable in and go for it.
