Ends talk about driving with frig on...much more safer apparently.
That manufacture decal sure does hold up well.
Glad everybody is OK
Not trying to be funny, I'm completely new at this but I've been camping with my father and family since a child and always traveled with the fridge on. That's a bad thing?
I don't think it is a bad thing to have frig on when traveling or most any other time. That is when your equipment is OK. Not when you have something that tries to ignite over and over. I bought a cheap manometer and test the our pressure every year. I think it was around $50.00 on Amazon. Lets me know if system is OK. There is a posting here maybe couple months ago of a guy that made his own.
Guess what I'm getting at is...either keep your equipment in good shape and safe or don't use it till its fixed and safe. This posting is 25 miles away from me. http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/27888131/srt/pa/pging/1/page/1 right on the bill of sale...
""The bill of sale included a clause that the 18-foot-long motor home should be towed rather than driven, police said. The paperwork was found inside the vehicle after it sped out of control down South 19th Street and smashed into pieces.""....
Lady would still be alive if she used simple common sense. So while these RV are fun they do contain there own little bomb factory of propane, gas and spark so they need to be kept in safe condition when driven or stopped or parked.

I travel with mine on also. What I was making reference to... when the subject comes up of traveling with frig on or off, it is a debate and people lean one way or another. This guy wasn't traveling he was parked and it still went up. So equipment in safe working order is more important to me than if rv is in motion or not.
