Why the hard feelings about the 6.0 Chevy?

I love my GM 6.0 gasser.

But is the cross over "H" pipe located at the right spot for 'both' sides?

Before computer simulation was available outside of the military...used to spray
can paint where 'thought' the cross pipe should go...where the paint burned off
was considered the spot...even then...discussions abounded at, behind, before...I
always liked 'at' the center of the burned off paint...

Ah...firing order...why a straight in-line is better...just that they are loooong...

Also factoring into that is the V's angle degree and a host of other architectural
attributes

Of course left out those comparing apples to oranges...the small displacement
but forced fed vs NA. Many do NOT understand that is an apples vs oranges
comparison, because they don't know...it is just an inanimate object burning
either gasoline or diesel

Or that the OP says diesel is superior...not in my mind. I'll stick with gassers

Back on forced fed +7 Liters of air into a 3 liter or so V6 can and does burn as
much fuel (MPG) as my 7.4L NA Big Block. Yes, forced fed has many advantages, but
it also requires additional design engineering. Of which the current era indicates
that most of the issues have been addressed. Am still waiting for the rebuild
info comes in.

But...in reference to anything automotive...Road Rage is now a defined term, and
this topic is in the same regard...albeit not in a vehicle, but disassociated
just like inside a vehicle

While walking about in a crowd...bump into someone...normal thing is
to say 'excuse me' and both move on. Not intentional...comment an
apology. Societal & physiological manners...but...if in a vehicle...that
'excuse me' doesn't happen...so an offense with no relief

Sitting here in isolation has a very similar situation, IMHO

Toss in blind loyalty that adds fuel to that rage

Loyalty as in badge, small block vs big block, gasoline vs diesel, etc, etc
That brings out both sides fighting to defend or attack...

That is all. If people who speak so negatively about something like the 6.0L can't be termed haters by this definition, then what do I call them? It's a fairly common urban term now......

As a former LEO, I DO understand what "fighting words" are and can tell you with all certainty that what I said would never be deemed fighting words in any court of law.....If what I said would drive you to violence then......

Yes it is but you don't understand that some words are "fighting words" and I guess that's OK.

My point IS....if you want to know why someone has a specific opinion of something.......ASK THEM DIRECTLY. And referring to them as a "hater" in the process won't get you better explanations.
