I would have liked a front doo too like the 2500FL, but oh well. I like having two doors.
I was told the backer plate is in the wall, but I don't know how that could be because the sliding door covers that area when open. I thought that I had seen a TV mounted in a unit in one of the online companies, and that TV was ceiling mounted. Yes, they are manufactured to slightly higher standards than most others. One small feature of note is how many manufacturers caulk all joints internal and external.
